Let’s talk about aging

Not as something to fear, or avoid, or hide behind euphemisms. But as something to honor. To adapt into. To live fully through.

At Safeway Home Healthcare, we’ve spent years helping Minnesotans remain in the homes and communities they love. And over time, a question kept surfacing from families, from caregivers, from our own hearts:

What if homecare didn’t feel like a transaction? What if it felt like a relationship?

Today, we answer that question with Signature Care, a new kind of private pay service. One designed not just to meet needs, but to preserve joy. To restore peace of mind. To fit around a person’s life, not force a person to fit into care.

Care that Doesn’t Clock Out

Picture this:
A retired teacher wakes up in the morning and hears from the same familiar caregiver she’s come to trust. There’s no rush, no rotating cast of new faces. Her CarePod, a dedicated team of three staff, knows her routines, her quirks, her favorite mug for morning tea.

They also know when something’s off. They check in. They notice. They adapt.

She’s not buying an hour here, an hour there. She’s a member. And that membership means consistency, responsiveness, and services that flex with her life, not against it.

We built Signature Care for people like her. People like you. People who want care that respects not just how they live, but why they live the way they do.

Built for the Heart and the Home

Signature Care is powered by people with more than credentials, people with presence. We actively recruit caregivers with backgrounds in the humanities: artists, musicians, writers, listeners. Why?

  • Because someone living with dementia deserves conversation that isn’t just clinical.
  • Because loneliness can be softened by someone who sees your soul, not just your schedule.
  • Because a home is more than a location, it’s a rhythm, a feeling, a story you’ve built.

We don’t just help with meals, meds, or mobility. We help with meaning. That’s what makes Signature Care… signature.

What We Offer – And Why It’s Different

Signature Care is a membership-based model of non-medical in-home care. Think: fewer invoices, more predictability. It’s a plan you commit to, monthly, semi-annually, or annually — with perks that actually make life easier:

  • Thoughtful touches like fall prevention, tech help, and errand runs
  • Expanded services in development: personal training, massage therapy, deep cleaning
  • A Care Complexity Score that ensures each client is placed in a tier that matches their actual needs, not assumptions

We currently offer three tiers of membership, each customizable to fit care goals. No more guessing what you’re paying for or who’s coming tomorrow.

Just care. Clear, consistent, and grounded in dignity.

Starting in Roseville. Growing Across Minnesota.

Safeway has always been rooted in Roseville, but Signature Care opens the door for clients across the Twin Cities metro area and greater Minnesota. If someone calls from outside that zone? We don’t shut the door; we invite the conversation. We’re growing, thoughtfully.

Here’s the Invitation

  • If you’ve been looking for something different…
  • If the rotating caregivers, inconsistent schedules, lack of communication, poor service or by-the-hour billing no longer feel like enough…
  • If your family needs more clarity, more connection, more calm…

Signature Care™ is ready.

Give us a call. Ask your questions. Let’s talk about care that centers your life, not interrupts it.

Because aging is not the end of something. It’s the deepening of something.

And care, at its best, should meet you there.
