Eyuel Getachew
Program Coordiator|Payroll Administration
Eyuel serves as our Program Coordinator and Payroll Specialist. He is passionate about helping others and excels at fostering trust with both clients and colleagues. Dedicated and goal-driven, Eyuel takes great pride in delivering high-quality work and achieving strong outcomes. He brings over two years of experience in the human services and homecare industry, contributing valuable insight and professionalism to our team.

Maria Gjerdrum
Cheif Administrative Officer
Maria Gjerdrum is a purpose-driven leader with over a decade of experience at the intersection of healthcare, public service, and community-based systems change. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and has a long history of working within county and healthcare programs. Grounded in a strong belief in service, community, and helping our neighbors, Maria leads with strategic clarity and heartfelt commitment—always centering frontline staff and the individuals and families they serve.

Selamab Habtemariam
Director of Outreach
Selamab brings a strong humanitarian background to Safeway, shaped by years of dedicated service in Ethiopia where he committed his life to helping others. His compassionate heart, empathy, and deep passion for community support shine through in everything he does. At Safeway, he plays a key role in strengthening our outreach efforts and building meaningful connections within the community. Selamab’s dedication to service and relationship-building makes him a valuable and inspiring member of our team.

Bereket Getachew
Chief Operating Officer
Bereket is the Chief Operating Officer of Safeway Home Healthcare, bringing over 10 years of healthcare experience and an MBA from Concordia University. He leads daily operations with a focus on quality, accountability, and client-centered care. Known for building strong systems and empowering teams, Bereket’s leadership emphasizes clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement—supporting Safeway’s mission to help individuals live independently with dignity and respect.

Ashwini Naik
HR Specialist
Ashwini is adept at fostering organizational growth and employee well-being within the dynamic realm of home health care. With a master’s degree in physics, double bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and education, and a certification as an associate in project management, Ashwini brings a unique blend of analytical prowess, educational insight, and project management finesse to their role.
As an HR personnel, Ashwini’s expertise extends to talent acquisition, employee engagement, process creation, managing offshore teams, and ensuring seamless payroll administration. Beyond their professional capacities, Ashwini is also a wellness advocate, leveraging their passion as a wellness instructor to instill holistic well-being practices within the workplace.
Ashwini’s multifaceted background is further enriched by a profound commitment to mindfulness and spiritual pursuits, fueling their drive to effect positive change within the organizational fabric. They ardently believe in the transformative power of mindfulness and spirituality, seeking to integrate these principles into the corporate culture to enhance employee engagement and fulfillment.

Sarah Richardson
245D Program Director
Sarah passion for healthcare derives from seeing her brother almost pass away in Liberia due to multiple wound injuries from the Civil War in Liberia. This war left her brother paralyzed from the waist down. Multiple wounds formed and became infected, and Sarah stepped in to provide care. Seeing the impact this left on her brother’s life she made it her life’s mission to be part of providing quality care.
Sarah has a decade plus experience working in healthcare and 4 years working in a managerial role. She is driven by fostering change and providing safe and quality care to all individuals served. Sarah has worked in various healthcare settings including assisted living, home care, and group homes. Sarah’s greatness joy comes from seeing individuals served thriving and establishing independence in their lives.
Away from work Sarah enjoys running her own nonprofit Bags Of Hope. This organization serves the homeless population with toiletries, food, and water. Sarah also enjoys creating educational videos about resources within the community for those battling homelessness.

Amare Solomon
Founder & CEO
Amare Solomon is the Founder and CEO of Safeway Home Healthcare, where the focus is simple: great care begins with great humanity. Safeway was created with a commitment to integrity, discipline, and compassion — values that continue to shape how the organization serves clients and supports its team.
Amare sees leadership as a daily practice of alignment and purpose, working alongside a dedicated group of professionals to strengthen Safeway’s foundation, invest in people, and expand the organization’s impact in the communities it serves.

Shyam Sundar
Billing Specialist
Shyam has an experience of over 18 years as a Billing Analyst, Data Analyst, and Automation Specialist across multiple Industries. After working with renowned Billing Organizations for more than a decade, he joined Safeway Home Healthcare to further expand his skill set and work with a team of professionals in the healthcare field.
He has a proven track record in delivering exceptional results to clients internationally, working across various industries such as Banking, Telecom, Fintech, and Insurance. He is also a technical Instructor and has trained & mentored over 20+ professionals.
As part of his role, Shyam oversees the Billing, Analytics, Automation, and Technology Optimization of the Organization. Shyam is deeply invested in Optimization & Transformation and looks forward to contributing to the growth of Safeway Home Healthcare home care services.
